Judge Brian Buescher was confirmed as Judge on the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska on July 24, 2019. Prior to his judgeship, Judge Buescher worked nineteen years at Kutak Rock LLP, where he was partner and chair of the national agribusiness litigation practice. Judge Buescher currently serves on the Administrative Office of the Courts Information Technology Committee, the IT Security Awareness subcommittee, and the OSCAR federal clerkships committee. Judge Buescher is also the judicial liaison for the District of Nebraska Local Rules Committee and the Federal Practice Committee. He is also an adjunct professor of law at Creighton University School of Law, teaching federal courts. Judge Buescher is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
