Speaker Bio
Jeffrey Li was appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Federal Judiciary in 2023 following his previous role as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer since 2019. As the CISO, Jeff leads the judiciary’s cybersecurity efforts to protect the judiciary against harm and enable the judiciary’s mission to provide equal justice under the law. Jeff initially joined the Federal Judiciary as the Chief of the Security Operations Division in the IT Security Office in the AO, managing the 24/7 security operations center and providing full spectrum defensive cyber support to the judiciary’s day to day activities. Prior to his time with the judiciary, Jeff served and continues to serve in the United States Army as a Military Intelligence and Armor Officer. Jeff holds a master’s degree in Cybersecurity Policy and Management from the University of Maryland, a bachelor's degree in history and politics, with a minor in computer science from Brandeis University, and numerous industry certifications in the IT and IT security field.
