Maggie Benson is Senior Counsel in the Tyson Foods Law Department where she has worked on the Global Litigation and Labor and Employment teams. Maggie serves on the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of Arkansas. She has served on the Board of Trustees and Board of Governors of the Arkansas Bar Association and co-chaired the Inaugural Public Service Academy of the Arkansas Bar Association and Clinton School of Public Service. Arkansas Talk Business & Politics named her as a member of its Forty Under 40 class in 2024.

Prior to joining Tyson Foods, Maggie was in private practice at Littler Mendelson and Kutak Rock. She has been named to Super Lawyers Rising Stars and Best Lawyers Ones to Watch in different practice areas. In 2014, she graduated magna cum laude from the UALR Bowen School of Law and received a master’s degree from the Clinton School. Prior to law school, Maggie worked for the U.S. House of Representatives following undergraduate studies at Hendrix College.

Maggie grew up in El Dorado and Little Rock. She lives in Fayetteville with her husband Matthew and their daughter Mary Helen, who is Maggie’s proudest achievement.
