Senior Judge Joe Bataillon (DC Nebraska) is currently the Chair of the Economy Subcommittee for the Judicial Conference Committee on the Budget. He has been a member of the Budget Committee since 2009. He was the Chair of the Space and Facilities Committee from 2006-09 and served on that committee and its predecessor, the Security and Facilities Committee, from 2001. He was a member of the District Court Advisory Council (2003-05) and the Budget and Finance Advisory Council (BFAC) (2003-05) later becoming the Budget Committee’s liaison to the BFAC (2009-18). He also was an early member of the District Court CM/ECF Working Group (2003-04). He served on the Judicial Conference Ad Hoc Strategic Planning Committee from 2009-10.
