Gregory started his legal career with Murray & Murray Law firm as a consumer attorney representing debtors in chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcies, businesses in chapter 7 bankruptcies and the chapter 7 trustees in various litigation. He understands the importance of marginalized communities having equal access to justice. He started a bankruptcy law clinic at Southern University Law Center that filed chapter 7 bankruptcies free of charge for individuals living below the poverty line. He also served as staff attorney to the chapter 13 trustee in the Western District of Louisiana. Gregory was appointed chapter 13 trustee for the District of Minnesota effective October 1, 2013. He has served on the board of directors for NACTT and is currently serving as secretary. He is an Eighth Circuit fellow with the American College of Bankruptcy, and a permanent member of the bankruptcy practice committee in the District of Minnesota. Gregory is a 2021 recipient of the NACTT tireless time and effort award in recognition of outstanding efforts on behalf of NACTT. Gregory is married to LaToya Burrell who is General Counsel for a Global company headquartered in Eden Prairie, MN, and they are the proud parents of two boys Grayson and Garrison.
