Esther Soria Mignanelli is an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota. Ms. Mignanelli is assigned to the fraud and public corruption section and prosecutes a variety of other federal crimes in the district, including crimes related to firearms, narcotics, child exploitation, civil rights, financial fraud and gangs. Previously, Ms. Mignanelli was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois, where she primarily prosecuted federal crimes related to firearms, narcotics, money laundering and human trafficking.
Before attending law school, Ms. Mignanelli worked as a Spanish Language Development teacher for Spanish-speaking students at Academia Cesar Chavez in St. Paul, Minnesota.
She graduated magna cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law (2014), and earned her bachelor’s degree from Bethel University, cum laude (2008).
