Bill Meyers is General Counsel for the Administrative Office of the US Courts, where he leads a highly skilled and experienced team of attorneys and support staff in providing strategic advice and counsel on the internal operations of the Judicial Branch of the United States Government to agency leadership, federal judges and senior staff of the federal courts. Mr. Meyers joined the Administrative Office in 2015. and has responsibility for issues including employment law, fiscal law, government contracting, litigation, congressional relations, ethics and compliance, and judicial administration.
Prior to joining the Administrative Office, Mr. Meyers was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Booz Allen Hamilton, an international technology and management consulting firm, where he helped lead a 50-person Legal and Government Relations Department. In this role, he represented Booz Allen in employment-related litigation matters in courts and administrative agencies throughout the US and globally. Additionally, Mr. Meyers managed multiple corporate governance issues and regulatory requirements associated with the evolution of the company from being privately held to becoming a publicly traded corporation.
Mr. Meyers began his legal career by serving as Assistant General Counsel for the Department of the Navy, where he focused on government contracts law and employment law.
Mr. Meyers received a BS in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Connecticut and a JD from Georgetown University.
